A continuous bandwidth monitor for one question: am I getting the speed I pay for, and if not, where is it lost? Seven probes — Cloudflare, Ookla, fast.com's Netflix caches, M-Lab ndt7, LibreSpeed, a self-hosted LAN server and iperf3 — each test stored with the link it ran on, gateway versus internet ping, latency under load, and the machine's own cross-traffic, with tcpdump and tshark counting retransmissions in every run. A wired probe beside the modem is the reference that tells a weak Wi-Fi hop from an ISP shortfall. Tests that span a laptop's sleep are thrown out rather than recorded as slow.
